POSITION: GIS Project Coordinator/Mapper

Description: The person in this position performs administrative and highly technical and analytical work including creation and preparation of plans, maps, spatial analyses and other illustrative materials using computer hardware and software. The duties will include the digitizing of various hard copy forms such as tax maps, aerial photographs, and deed descriptions as well as creating data bases of street names, county roads, evaluating planning inquiries, responding to public and staff inquiries and performing related tasks as required.

Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, environmental science, geography, or related field and at least two years experience with GIS analysis and applications, preferably ESRI
Arc Info 9.X, or the equivalent combination of education and experience thereof.
